In 1971, just five years after the founding of Des Moines Area Community College, a group of students led by Editor Paul Borgstrom created the first and only college yearbook that DMACC has ever had. Borgstrom, who was a student at DMACC, took the initiative to undertake the project. He gathered several other students and received additional help from Dorothy Gilliland and Paul Magnin. Alan Suby served as the faculty advisor for the yearbook.
